How to Use the Release Notes?
YesElf release notes offer brief descriptions of enhancements, new features, and bug fixes. We include relative links to the YesElf Manual, tips to help you get started, and best practices to ensure your continued success.
How and When Do Features Become Available?
We do release the updates every second week of the month after rigorous tests in the testing environment.
How Will You Apply These Changes?
Your current implementation of YesElf will not be affected by these updates. As YesElf is Cloud SaaS, all the upgrades and changes immediately go live after they are released. For you, it is sufficient to refresh your session to get instant access to the updated version.
- Click on the browser refresh button or F5 function key on your keyboard.
- If that does not do any change, push Ctrl + Shift + Del keyboard combination and clear the cache and cookies.
However, if you have integrated YesElf to your local servers or on Microsoft Azure Cloud, please contact your on-premise environment administrators or reach us to gain access to the recent updates and features.

What’s new?
- YesElf Editor Improvements.
- Decision names.
Every time a decision step is created, YesElf was used to automatically represent it with a provided number. Now you can create and see the decision names, along with their number. Making it easier to locate and manage especially when you have multiple decision steps in the guides.
- Guide duplication and publishing guides to a new application .
We have made improvements to the way you copy and paste the existing guides either within the same application or publishing guides to a new application . Copying guides saves time and as it is much easier than creating from scratch.

Bug Fixes
- Language export, edit and import bugs.
There was a bug stopping the functionality of language export, edit and import of the guides. Now it is working as intended.

What’s new?
- Genesys Cloud Integration.
Great news for Genesys Cloud Customers. Thanks to YesElf’s integration, all Genesys Cloud Contact Center customers and employees will have access to YesElf’s digital adoption platform’s guidance, which provides onboarding and personalized employee experience and training. As a result of this integration, more contact center employees will be guided throughout which makes the corporate software training and using a breeze.

What’s new?
- A-B testing.
New A/B testing capabilities have been added to promote more effective Adoption Strategies as teams will be able to evaluate the performance of different guides for different user groups.
- Segmentation based rules.
Segmentation helps to select one or several segments from your customer base and shows the most effective way of onboarding and adoption, based on data for these segments.
Because of this update, YesElf enables companies to better understand their user’s behavior and conduct better and more efficient customer or user onboarding. The data derived from segmentation is presented in a simple format, giving you access to what kind of approach works best for your customers.

- Great news for all SAP Concur® users.
YesElf has increased the level of integration with SAP Concur® which falls under the category of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and is one of the world’s leading providers of integrated travel, expense, and invoice management solutions. This change enables all YesElf customers to use SAP Concur® to track users’ progress even if they change locations, devices, or browsers. This integration level also enables YesElf to provide personalized and non-repetitive guides, which further reduces user frustration and churn. It is a win-win situation for all.

- Microsoft Office 365 Outlook Integration.
Office 365 is a line of subscription services offered by Microsoft. If you have the Microsoft 365 subscription plan you get the fully installed Office apps. Among those apps one of the widely used apps is Outlook. It is used for email, contacts, tasks, and calendars to be productive and connected. YesElf now has increased the level of integration with Microsoft Outlook which enables all YesElf customers to provide personalized and non-repetitive guides to its users, depending on their roles, experience, or detected confusion levels. So you as a manager can track the users’ progress even if they change locations, devices, or browsers.

What’s new?
- YesElf now can read user roles (or any user attributes) from the major CRM, HCM, and ERP software solutions.
This enables all YesElf customers that are using major HCM, CRM, or ERP enterprise system solutions such as Salesforce or Successfactors to customize and personalize the guidance and enhance the overall user experience. For example, you can now create a rule which will display different guides according to the user’s role. This way, the guides will be personalized and non-repetitive.

- YesElf is now ARIA compliant!
ARIA stands for Accessible Rich Internet Applications and is created for how to make web content usable by persons with disabilities. Persons with certain types of disabilities use assistive technologies to interact with content. Such as screen magnifiers, text-to-speech software, alternate pointing devices, etc. We understand the importance of making web content and YesElf guides accessible for all application users. - New integration level unlocked with Salesforce.
YesElf now has increased the level of integration with the world’s most trusted customer relationship management (CRM) platform, Salesforce. This change enables all YesElf customers to use Salesforce to track its users’ progress even if the users change locations, devices, or browsers. This new level of integration also enables YesElf to provide personalized and non-repetitive guides, which further reduces user frustration and churn. It is a win-win situation for all.

Improvements
- Recommendation engine improvements.
In version 2.30.0, we introduced a new section in the Context Help (CH), which displays the recommended guides chosen by the YesElf Artificial Intelligence based on the data of user’s interactions with the application. We have improved that recommendation engine, which is now more accurate to offer most relative guides your users need.

2.32.0 (Updated on July 28, 2020)
What’s new?
- Record guides and their steps and download them as a document.
YesElf now has a new feature that will automate the capturing guides and its steps. You can easily initiate the recording where YesElf will automatically and continuously take a screenshot every time a step is triggered which then YesElf will capture the whole process and you can download it as a document file to your computer. Once triggered, YesElf will continuously record the entire process until the recording process is turned off. This recording will include the name of the guide, the text the step contains, date and time of recording and the screenshot where the step bubble is displayed, YesElf will store the recording in the cloud and be available to download as a word document on-demand.

- Fixed the intermittent YesElf Editor freeze caused by Virtual Private Network (VPN).
YesElf had fixed a bug that intermittently caused the YesElf Editor to freeze while starting for those who use the virtual private network (VPN) and when the internet speed was slower than average. Now all services are running as intended.

What’s new?
- The full-screen takeover and sidebar widgets are now customizable. Previously, by default, the full-screen and sidebar widgets would place a shadow on the rest of the screen to bring the users’ or visitors’ attention to the widget by creating contrast. Now the YesElf Editor has control over turning off the shadow or adding a blurring effect. With this change, the Full-Screen takeover widget’s behavior will be consistent with other widget types.
- YesElf now has a new theme. With the addition of the new theme, YesElf now has over twenty themes to choose from. New YesElf themes that will complement the look and feel of your application are created by our master developers on-demand.

What’s new?
- YesElf has increased the integration level with Salesforce CRM. As a result, YesElf guidance can now be personalized to each individual user who signs in with a username. YesElf then follows the users’ progress and highly relative, nonrepetitive contextual guidance regardless of the device they are using.
- Another update regards all YesElf users who are as well using Microsoft Power Apps. YesElf now has native full integration with Microsoft Power Apps. This means you can easily create personalized guides for your users or visitors and utilize the Business Analytics Insights.
- The new YesElf console https://cloud.yeself.com/console/ which was introduced in 2.30.0, is now used by all YesElf customers.

What’s new?
- YesElf Console now has an additional feature that allows you to add new users to the application who can simultaneously edit the Guides and its steps.
- An exciting new feature YesElf now has; from now on, you can keep all the digital footprints of your users or visitors on Microsoft Azure Cloud instead of keeping them YesElf clouds.
- The Context Help section now displays the recommended guides chosen by the YesElf Artificial Intelligence from the user’s digital footprints.

What’s new?
Recent updates to the YesElf Editor became available on May 6, 2020
- You can now create new applications in the YesElf console. We had been developing this feature to enable you to structure your adoption process across multiple applications in your company.
- Business Analytics Insights charts now have smooth lines, making it easier to see the trends in the analytics reports. Analytics visual style improvements – from now, all line chart analytics are improved by using smooth lines, so it’s easier to see the trends in the analytics reports.

- Now the decisions can be named, making it easier to identify the purpose of the decision while the editor is in edit mode. This is important, especially for complex processes where the guides have a lot of decisions in place, and it’s not easy to distinguish between them.
Improvements
- We have improved the speed of fetching the initial guide information, which significantly increased the overall system performance and responsiveness.
- Fixed problems with user behavior data logger as on some occasions, it returned error 500 as status code in the agent mode.
- In Agent Mode ‘Number of times, the visitor has visited exactly’ rules are updated.
- Bulk changes on multiple steps in the editor mode were fixed.
