If this is your first instance to contact the YesElf, you are in the right place. This manual will guide you through creating great engaging and contextual user experiences!
Think YesElf as a private personal guide that you hired specially for your employees or users on their digitalization journeys. It guides them through any application or software every step of the way. With YesElf, you reach your goals easier than ever before.
So, the first step is to integrate YesElf to your software.
To create any guide, steps, tooltips, bubbles, and tutorials, etc, you should integrate YesElf into your application. There are two simple ways how to integrate YesElf to your application:
If you have access to the source code of your application template
Go to https://cloud.yeself.com/console/ and login with your credentials provided to you by YesElf.
Then find the script in the YesElf Console Settings under the Integration tab.
You can copy the YesElf script and paste it directly into the source code of your application.
The best position for placing this script is at the end, just before closing the body tag.
If you don’t have access to the source code of your application template
Then you can use YesElf Extension for Google Chrome.
- Download and install YesElf Extension for Google Chrome from Chrome Web Store.
- After installing the extension, click to open the YesElf extension for Chrome and login with your credentials.
- After a successful login, the YesElf toolbar shall appear on the left side of the screen.
- Should you wish, you can move the toolbar to the right side of the screen by clicking on the arrow.
Now you can immediately start creating guides.
Tip: If you see this message when you click the YesElf Extension, it shows you are not in the tab where you have linked the URL while setting up the guide. Switch to the correct tab on your browser and refresh the page. YesElf extension should load normally.
