Switch between the YesElf Modes
YesElf has two modes:
- Editor mode; Can be accessible only by the Content Editors and used to create and modify guides.
- Agent mode; Once the YesElf is integrated with the application, agent mode is where the users or the visitors see and are actively guided with contextual and step-by-step guidance.
YesElf Editor Mode
Editor mode is used by the authorized editors to edit, add or remove the guides and the steps within.
In this mode, you can define the guides’ Content, Appearance, Position, and Triggers.
How to open YesElf Editor
There are two ways to open the YesElf Editor
- From the YesElf Console
Tip: The Console is also used for general management and business analytics and insights

- Go to https://cloud.yeself.com/console
- Log in with your credentials
- Open your application by clicking on the right-pointing arrow positioned below the Actions tab or by clicking on the name of the application
- Select Guides tab from the menu on the left side of the console
- Find the guide which you want to edit
- Click on Open In Editor
From the YesElf Browser Extension- Make sure the YesElf Extension for your browser is installed and turned on.

- Click on the YesElf Extension the lucky cloverleaf icon
- Find the guide you want to work on
- Click on Open In Editor
Tip: When the Sandbox mode is activated for the selected guide, it will be hidden from the end-users or visitors while being edited.

YesElf Agent Mode
This is the mode where you can preview the guides and their steps as they will be visible to application users or visitors.
How to open Agent Mode
There is only one way to open the agent mode, which is by turning off the editor. When exit from the Editor Mode you would enter the Agent Mode.
Tip: In the agent mode you would see the guides and steps on how the application users or visitors would see.
Tip: Make sure the guide is not in sandbox mode. The guides which are in sandbox mode will not be visible either to you or to them in the Agent mode.

- Click on the more options icon
- Click on Turn off Editor
YesElf Console
This is the management console via you can:
- Manage YesElf Editors and credentials
- Holistically view and manage guides and journeys
- Define the Context Help options
- Change various settings
- localization and language settings
- integration settings
- visual settings (themes)
- See analytical reports
- Track the user behavior
- Display the digital adoption performance
