Setup a full-screen pop-up

Unlike the other widget types, a pop-up is not positioned based on the selected element, and it is always displayed in the center of the screen while blurring the background. Because of these features, YesElf recommends using this as a welcome screen for the new users or highlighting news/changes in the application.

To set up:

  1. Open the guide in Editor
  1. Hover your mouse over the step you want to change and click on the cogwheel icon to open Step Properties.
  1. Open the Appearance tab
  2. Click to select Fullscreen takeover
  1. Save the settings

As you can see above, the step took over the screen while greying out the background, and the user or the visitor is only allowed to interact with the options given within. The editor can change these features.
